The launch of the international ERASMUS+ project "Skills4future"

On January 30, 2023, within the Politehnica University of Bucharest, Romania, the international project "Skills4future" - Developing and improving the STEAM skills of students and teachers for curriculum innovation and sustainable development of higher education institutions and local businesses was officially launched. The project is part of the Erasmus+ category and is co-financed by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ KA2 Program – Capacity Building in the Field of Higher Education, with a duration of 3 years.

The project is implemented by 11 educational and academic institutions from Romania (Politehnica University of Bucharest, Academy of Economic Studies of Bucharest), Poland (Technical University of Lodz) and the Republic of Moldova (Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, Technical University of Moldova, National Institute for Economic Research of AESM – Agrifood economics and rural development department, State University of Moldova, State University "Alecu Russo" from Bălți, State University "Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu" from Cahul, Business Center from Cahul, Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Bălți branch).

The general objective of the Skills4future project aims at integration of STEAM skills (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) in the curricula of the "Business and administration" specialty, first cycle bachelor's degree, for the programs of 5 universities from the Republic of Moldova. As part of the project's activities, the National Institute for Economic Research of AESM will collaborate to achieve the specific objectives of the project in partnership with the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova and the Technical University of Moldova.
